How to register Simcard online Safaricom airtel: Kenya’s largest telecommunications company, Safaricom, has finally launched an electronic method for users to register their SIM card registration details digitally.
Subscribers now have the opportunity to re-register their details with the company ahead of the deadline, which has been pushed back by the Kenya Communications Authority (CA) to October 15, 2022.
Safaricom is considered one of the most digitally advanced companies and has many subscribers as there is no online option to register their SIM cards. The telco’s rivals, Telkom and Airtel, already offer users the opportunity to sign up online.

The re-enrollment process involves taking a picture of the subscriber and capturing an electronic signature on the electronic device.
According to the authorities, the program is designed to deter fraudsters who commit crimes through unregistered lines.
