Diamond platinumz YouTube account hacked, terminated

Tanzanian singer Naseeb Abdul, better known as Diamond Platnumz, is the latest to lose her YouTube channel. The singer’s YouTube channel, with more than 6.5 million subscribers, has been shut down under unknown circumstances.

Diamonds’ YouTube account was reportedly hacked about two days ago. Hackers allegedly gained access to the platform through cryptocurrency news. This has become a common trend after Citizen TV and Kenyan influencer Diana Marua went through the same woes a few weeks ago. Before the accounts were terminated, the hackers went live on a similar crypto-messaging show. Fortunately, both parties were able to recover their accounts.

Bongo: Diamond Platnumz has accused the government of abuse.

After the ordeal, diamond reportedly removed links to his YouTube channel from his social media. Currently, his channel link on YouTube shows that he was fired for violating the Community Guidelines. The Tanzanian singer is the most popular African artist on YouTube, with over 6.5 million subscribers and 742 videos. In fifth place is Rayvanny with more than 3.5 million users, Harmonize with more than 3.2 million users, Davido with more than 2.9 million users, and Fally Ipupa with more than 2.8 million users.
