Kamene Goro on Her 1-Year Marriage: “It’s an Experimental Phase”

Reflecting on their one-year union, Kamene shared, “Now I’ve been married for like a year. I thought it would feel different, but not really. It’s just like some long-drawn dating. We don’t stop dating each other, and we’ve become friends, which is something you need to look out for.”
Despite her previous declarations about her ideal partner being a dark-skinned man with muscles and a beard, Kamene married DJ Bonez, a brown-skinned man without these traits. This unexpected turn in her personal life reinforced her belief in life’s unpredictability. She advised her fans, “Never say never. You don’t know when God is about to pull a fast turn on you, and trust me, it was a fast one.”
