Kenyan socialite Vera Sidika Mung’asia has hinted that she may never marry again. During a Q&A session with her Instagram followers on Wednesday, the 34-year-old beauty revealed that her attempt at marriage didn’t work out.
The mother of two shared her thoughts in response to pressure from fans to settle down, similar to her fellow socialite Zari Hassan, who married her partner Shakib Cham Lutaaya last year.
One fan commented, “You can’t settle down like Zarithebosslady. She found love and peace.” Vera responded, indicating that she ended her marriage in 2023 and congratulated Zari on her successful marriage, but noted that marriage is not for her. “Good for her. I tried. It’s not for me,” she said.
Zari and Shakib formalized their union in a private wedding in South Africa on October 3, 2023, after dating for over a year. Vera had also married musician Brown Mauzo in October 2020, but they separated last year.
Recently, Vera made headlines by throwing a lavish party to celebrate her divorce in September. She posted pictures and videos on Instagram, showing her grand arrival at the event and announcing the purpose of the celebration. She described marriage as “the biggest scam ever” in her life, writing, “Divorce party coming up, marriage is a scam.”
Vera, who shares two children, Asia Brown and Ice Brown, with Brown Mauzo, was seen arriving at the event in a fancy car, surrounded by bouncers, and being escorted to the main hall where the party was held.
