This government is a publicly traded corporation. GACHAGUA

by Deep dickens

On Sunday, when visiting Kericho, one of the 39 counties in which President William Ruto received the constitutional threshold of 25% or more of the vote, Gachagua claimed that those who voted for him will “reap the harvest” before anyone else is considered.

This government functions like a publicly traded corporation. Those who voted for us and supported us must reap the rewards first,” he explained, referring to the fact that there are owners who hold the bulk of shares, some who hold just a few, and those who do not own any.

Apparently invoking the teachings of Galatians 6:10, Gachagua, who has regularly rebuked those who have criticized Ruto’s administration for overdoing religion, said: Therefore then, when we have opportunity, “let us do good unto all men,” with specific emphasis on those inside the Christian community.

You sunk your resources into this government, and now it’s time to reap the rewards. Now that you’ve planted seeds, cultivated the soil, fertilized it, and watered it, you may harvest the rewards of your labor.

“Protector of State House” Gachagua made the remark that it is ridiculous that some opposition politicians have started showing up at State House seeking government posts.

He defended rewarding the administration’s supporters with government positions, saying it is wise, just, and acceptable, given that the government will serve all Kenyans.

Those who sowed first will harvest first, as I have said, has been criticized by some, but I see nothing wrong with this. One day, “in what is left after those who sowed have completed reaping,” he continued, “their time to reap will arrive.”

Although he proclaimed himself “protector of State House,” he stressed that those who voted against Kenya Kwanza should “learn a lesson” about elections.

Gachagua swore he would make sure nobody who didn’t back Kenya Kwanza could ever rise to a position of power in the administration.

That’s why elections matter so much. After Ruto’s victory, “you cannot make noise criticizing him, and you will be given priority in receiving advantages ahead of those who were with him,” he warned.

That’s what I do for a living at the White Houseā€”I get to decide who gets to go first in line.

There were multiple defections from Azimio to Kenya Kwanza after Gachagua made his remarks.

Professor Kivutha Kibwana (Makueni), Kiraitu Muringi (Meru), Jack Ranguma (Kisumu), Mandera Senator Ali Roba, Tiaty MP William Kamket (KANU), and Ugenya’s David Ochieng are just some of the leaders that have abandoned Azimio.

All 29 members of the Jubilee Party’s parliamentary delegation have now publicly declared their support for Ruto, and the party has begun the formal process of withdrawing from the Azimio Coalition.
