Uhuru plan to market Raila fails miserably
A gathering apparently set to promote ODM pioneer Raila Odinga in the Mt Kenya area failed to occur yesterday leaving the previous executive with a larger number of inquiries than answers.
President Uhuru Kenyatta’s partners had wanted to assemble at an exclusive lodging in Central Kenya to layout methodologies they would use to advertise Raila’s plan in the area to prepare for the 2022 General Election.
The gathering was likewise intended to counter Deputy President William Ruto’s impact in the area and shape Uhuru’s 2022 progression plan.
Nonetheless, the gathering did not happen with coordinators presently denying such plans.
Driven by Kieni MP Kanini Kega, Uhuru’s partners invalidated reports of the arranged gathering to advertise Raila in Central Kenya.
“There was no such gathering. That is simply propaganda, rumors, and phony news,” Kega expressed.
“When gone after the remark, Raila’s Spokesman Dennis Onyango redirected the inquiry, saying he isn’t one of Uhuru’s partners.
Ask the so-called Uhuru allies. I am not Uhuru ally,” Raila’s personal assistant, Dennis Onyango said.
Raila is supposedly focusing around 50% of votes from the vote-rich Mt. Kenya district.
He is set to visit with Uhuru in August 2021.
