Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) star Neymar Jr will be absent from the game for at least three months due to an ankle injury. This is not the first time the Brazilian has suffered an ankle sprain. PSG’s medical staff recommended a ligament repair surgery after his latest injury to prevent future injuries. The surgery will take place in the coming days in a hospital located in Doha, Qatar. Neymar was previously injured on February 9 in a match against Lille on matchday 24 in Ligue 1, which led to his stretchered-off. Despite the injury, the 31-year-old helped PSG reach their first-ever UEFA Champions League final in 2020, and he has managed to produce 18 goals and 17 assists in 29 matches this season.
