We’ll not take part in parliamentary bipartisan talks – Azimio

by Deep dickens

Opposition Chief announced last week that the coalition will resume anti-government protests after the holy Month of Ramadhan, despite plans for a parliamentary-led bipartisan talk between Azimio la Umoja, One Kenya, and Kenya Kwanza.

However, Azimio la Umoja Coalition has recently declared that they will not participate in any parliamentary process and want to engage in extra-parliamentary talks instead.

Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka emphasized this point during a press conference and also demanded that the government should take responsibility for hospital bills and pay repatriation to Kenyans who lost their properties during protests.

These demands came after the Kenya Kwanza team released a notice of motion outlining their terms and conditions for the bipartisan talks with Azimio.
