Rapper D.M.X have died aged 50 from heart attack.
Born in the New York suburb of Mount Vernon in 1970 and raised in children’s homes due to his mother’s physical abuse. D.M.X., a rapper recognized more for bringing trouble than singing, has passed on, as announced by family aged 50. A family announcement stated that they were sorry for the loss of their loved one, the rapper, whose real name is Earl Simmons died today, Friday 9th, 2021, after suffering a massive heart attack and spending the last few days on life support.
The announcement read, “Earl was a warrior who fought till the very end, He loved his family with all of his heart, and we cherish the times we spent with him. Earl’s music inspired countless fans worldwide, and his iconic legacy will live on forever. We appreciate all of the love and support during this tough time.”

He was often on the wrong side of the law overshadowing his music through substance abuse and family feuds; he was imprisoned for fraud in 2017 for one year.
About his struggles with substance abuse, he said, “I just need to have a purpose,” he said. “And I don’t even know that purpose, because God has given me that purpose since before, I was in the womb, so I’m going to fulfill that purpose … Whether I want to or not, whether I know it or not, because the story has already been written. If you appreciate the good, then you have to accept the bad.”
T.M.Z. reported on April 3, he was in critical condition in life support in White Plains, New York, after a heart attack due to a drug overdose. His attorney, Murray Richman, said that Simmons had been taken from life support and was breathing naturally. Still, he had the wrong information because the rapper was suffering from lung and brain failure due to oxygen deprivation. He also exhibited COVID-19 19 symptoms at the time of his admission.
Simmons collaborated with rappers like Mic Geronimo, Jay-Z, Ja, Mase, LL Cool Rule, J, and the L.O.X.
