Marcel Sabitzer says Man Utd loan may become permanent after sink or swim.

Marcel Sabitzer says he hasn’t made up his mind about whether or not to make his loan move to Manchester United permanent this summer.

After Christian Eriksen went down with a long-term ankle injury, the Red Devils sprang into action on transfer deadline day, bringing in the Austrian international midfielder from German giants Bayern Munich till the end of the season.

After Casemiro’s red card and accompanying three-game suspension coupled to Eriksen’s absence, Sabitzer was thrust into the starting lineup.
That meant the 28-year-old Sabitzer had to start two games in as many days against a strong Leeds United squad.

The midfielder will head back to Germany after the season concludes. Sabitzer, on the other hand, has been discussing his plans for the future and the likelihood that this will be a permanent relocation.

Just a loan for the time being is all I can say,” he stated after Sunday’s 2-0 victory at Elland Road.

“This is a nice place. At the moment, I’m in a fantastic mood. The team, the club, and the vibe at Old Trafford all appeal to me. What transpires this summer remains to be seen.

In other words, the past few days have been quite hectic. I’m here on short notice but am enjoying myself immensely. So far, so good. I’ve been given a warm welcome by the group.

Due to Casemiro’s suspension, I was thrust into action unexpectedly and it was a chilly beginning. Have fun, and consider myself prepared.

There’s an underlying tension. I felt welcome and at home on the team from the start; we have a great vibe and ambitious goals. The activity is entertaining.

This management has been very vocal about his expectations for me. I work hard to meet your expectations in this regard. So far, I’m impressed by him and his strategy.

An emerging United star on loan
Although two short games against a fast-paced Leeds club will help, Sabitzer acknowledges he is still adjusting to the intensity of English football.

As United, he continued, “Leeds away is a massive game. It’s imperative that you succeed.

To paraphrase Coach, “We were ready for that, the tension was good, and we were good in the game. After falling short on Wednesday, we resolved to do better this time around.

We anticipated that these would be two challenging contests. With so many changes occurring throughout a Premier League match, being attentive is essential. We did a great job, too; they had no chance.

On Thursday night, United will be back in action when they travel to Barcelona to take on Barcelona in the Europa League quarterfinals.
