A first-year student at Maasai mara university student has passed on after being involved in an accident. The student, faith chelang’at, from Kericho county was in the company of a friend riding a motorcycle on their way from Narok to school. The accident occurred near Ntimama stadium in Narok.
According to witnesses” the deceased was with another colleague, they were both on the same motorbike, coming back from town, the unfortunate fatal accident happened. They were hit from behind by a truck & faith succumbed. Merriam, the colleague is fine.it is so sad we must do something to stop such recklessness that caused the life of a comrade”. The friend survived but faith did not make it. Our sources tell us that they had gone to replace a sim card at Narok.
Another young girl’s dream ruined by reckless driving will read the news tomorrow, or lest be forgotten in the dark like she never existed. I can’t stop to figure her with all the dreams and aspirations, all the hope her parents had for her gone. Gone.
Students are calling for a peaceful demonstration to remind citizens of respectable driving and condemn reckless driving.
