Arsenal Manager Mikel Arteta Extends Contract
Mikel Arteta has signed a new contract with Arsenal that will keep him at the club until the end of the 2024/25 season.
“I’m excited, grateful, and really, really happy today,” Arteta said.

“When I spoke to Josh [Kroenke] he could see the club in the same place and he wanted to run the club the way I wanted. So when I was with both of them, he said and everything that Stan [Kroenke] said, they always got what they wanted.
“We want to take the club to the next level and really compare to the top teams. For that, we have to play in the Champions League.
“We need to be able to develop the squad, improve our players, improve all departments, connect more with our fans, improve the atmosphere at Emirates, be able to attract top talent and recruit the best talent for this club to drive this project to this level.
