Embu’s top officials are optimistic that the government’s plans to build a stadium in Njukiri ASK Showground, Embu West, will speed up the installation of necessary utilities in the area.
When a high-ranking government delegation led by Dr. Raymond Omollo, Principal Secretary of the Ministry of Interior and National Administration, visited the Njukiri ASK Showground, where the government plans to build a brand-new stadium, local officials discussed the region’s poor communications infrastructure.
Pamela Njoki, a representative for women in Embu County, said that the people of Njukiri stand to benefit much from the new stadium.
As one resident put it, “Njukiri is a little town that has been afflicted by inadequate network connectivity for a very long time but with the installation of this new tower, we might finally see an end to this problem
