After Brentford defeated the Gunners, Thomas Frank predicts that Arsenal will win the Premier League.

Thomas Frank, manager of Brentford, thinks Arsenal can win the Premier League for the first time in 19 years. Despite being held on Saturday afternoon, the Gunners remain five points ahead of the pack.

After Mikel Arteta’s team lost consecutive games to Manchester City and Everton, Leandro Trossard scored his first goal for the club and gave the Gunners hope of salvaging a point. However, eight minutes later, the Bees salvaged a point thanks to a goal from Ivan Toney.

If they can’t get back to winning, Manchester City will be able to close the margin to just three points before next week’s highly anticipated showdown between the two title rivals. The first of two remaining league matches this season sees the Gunners host Pep Guardiola’s men at the Emirates Stadium.

From the UEFA Champions League heartbreak at the end of last season to the incredible turnaround that Arsenal has experienced this season is hard to believe. Arteta has successfully implemented a long-overdue turnaround in north London, taking them from a fifth-place result to legitimate title contenders.

And even though they were held to a draw by the Gunners yesterday, Frank still thinks Arsenal will win the league title in May instead of City. In his postgame press conference, he declared, “They’re favourites to win the title and I think they will.”
Meanwhile, Frank laid out a plan for the rest of the Premier League’s head coaches to stop Arsenal from clicking on all cylinders for the rest of the season. Yesterday afternoon, Brentford minimized their opponents’ opportunities while also creating a few of their own.

When asked if it was simple to get ready for Arsenal, he replied, “In a way, yeah.” However, they are experts at their craft. Removing their dangers is the goal. We were well aware that we were sending two teams against Saka and Martinelli.
