Mama Rachel Ruto, the First Lady of Kenya’ has offered to help Igembe South MP John Paul Mwirigi find a wife. Speaking at a Sunday service in Meru, Mama Rachel joked that if women in Meru were not available, she would take the MP to Rift Valley to find a spouse. She encouraged Mwirigi to act quickly, reminding him that he was first elected at the age of 23 and is now 29, and urged him to find a home.
Mama Rachel also spoke about the importance of the family institution, which she believes is currently under attack. She emphasized the need for parents to live together peacefully, as children can suffer if they do not. She called for the strengthening of the family unit, with a father, mother, and children, and encouraged the congregants to focus on this issue.
