County Government Announces 230 Job Openings: How to Apply
The County Government of Nyeri has announced more than 230 vacancies from 10 ministries, targeting all Kenyans.
In a notice issued Monday, April 11, the county is seeking to fill vacancies in 39 categories, from the Department of Health, which has 143 vacancies, to the Department of Equity, Youth and Social Services, which has just one vacancy.
The County Government also plans to recruit 55 Registered Nurses III and 27 ECDE Nurses, the sector with the most vacancies.
The others are Media Lab Technician III with 23 positions, Registered Clinical Director III with 18 positions, and Assistant Public Health Officer III with 15 positions.

All positions come with a 3-year contract.

Each position has its own unique requirements, and some are cross-departmental.
For example, all applicants should have appropriate interpersonal skills as well as a national identity card proving that they are citizens of Kenya.
Some positions also require the holder to hold a valid Kenyan Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) and a certificate from a higher education institution.
