Infinix names Zuchu as their newest Brand Ambassador

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]anzanian Star Zuchu is Infinix’s newest brand ambassador. The musician will lead the new Infinix NOTE 12 VIP, part of the new NOTE 12 lineup. She is joined by Sauti Sol from Kenya, who are also brand ambassadors for Infinix.

Infinix settled on Sauti Sol on June 2, 2021. When they launched the NOTE 12 VIP, they announced that they had renewed their contracts. Infinix’s approach appears to be to have brand ambassadors in each country. So Sauti Sol will be working with the brand in Kenya, while Zuchu will be making headlines in Tanzania.

The same seems to be true for itel, they have Diamond Platnumz as their African itel ambassador and King Kaka as their local Kenyan itel ambassador.

The idea behind brand ambassadors is that they are influencers – usually musicians – who promote the brand’s ideals and support the brand’s products. This is done to get more customers to believe and buy the brand’s products.
Recently, Transsion seems to have come up with this idea for all of their brands:

Infinix has Sauti Sol and now Zuchu itel has Diamond Platnumz and King Kaka TECNO has Chris Evans (Captain America) and will reveal Otile Brown

But do these types of endorsements work? Have you ever been drawn to buy something because of a musician’s endorsement?

They work very well for Transsion-owned companies. For example, Itel’s Diamond Plantnumz endorsement is very popular. The partnership with Sauti Sol Infinix has also really changed the way many people across the country think about the brand. I believe the support of Zuchu and Otile Brown will not only attract new customers but also open up a whole new perspective for Infinix and TECNO respectively.

For established brands, the idea behind brand ambassadors may not work because people already know the brands and associate certain qualities with them. Maybe that’s why endorsements with the likes of Samsung’s Nyashinski and Nokia’s Nviiri The Storyteller don’t have billboards and device headlines as we’ve seen with the Transsion brand.

Infinix Note 12 VIP | Unboxing & Full Tour | Very Impressive Phone?

Unboxing the Infinix Note 12 VIP, an upgrade over the standard smartphone boasting impressive gaming chops and specs for a budget-friendly price.

This hands-on review tests the Infinix Note 12 VIP’s camera tech, gamer experience, and XOS features, while the 120W battery charge rivals Xiaomi, Realme, and other phones.

On paper, this mobile offers a lot. The Mediatek G96 chipset may lack 5G support but can handle Genshin Impact, Call of Duty, PubG, and other Android titles. Battery life is fantastic with that quick charging tech on board too. Infinix’s Note 12 VIP 108MP camera copes well with a range of conditions although struggles when your subject is close to the lens.

It’s certainly as good as many rivals, as long as you take your time with your shot. You even have a flash for the selfie camera for those night pics. You’ve got a 120Hz AMOLED screen, an okay-ish stereo speaker setup, and that XOS 10.6 setup which adds gaming features and lots of bonus bits. It can be a little shonky at times on the Note 12 VIP but Infinix has included some useful tools like a one-handed mode.
