Chelsea reportedly disappointed with Thomas Tuchel’s public comments about Anthony

Chelsea are reportedly disappointed with Thomas Tuchel over his public comments regarding Chelsea coach Anthony Barry. Tuchel, who was recently appointed as Bayern Munich’s new head coach, expressed his desire to add Barry to his staff during his press conference.

Chelsea are said to be annoyed with Tuchel’s public acknowledgment that Barry is a target, and Bayern have since made an official approach to secure his services.

While no compensation fee has been offered yet, negotiations are said to be ongoing. Barry has been with Chelsea since 2020 and has worked under Frank Lampard, Tuchel, and Graham Potter.

His stock has risen during his time at Stamford Bridge, with EFL managerial roles being considered for him. Despite widespread alterations to Chelsea’s coaching staff and recruitment team since Potter replaced Tuchel, Barry has remained a mainstay at the club due to his growing reputation in the sport.
