Family members of Benson Ouma, also known as DJ Lasborn, a veteran reggae DJ, have confirmed his passing.
DJ Lastborn, according to his sister in Mombasa, Kenya, who had been taking care of him, passed away peacefully while sleeping.
This morning, when we awoke, we discovered his body. Lastborn’s sister told Ghetto Radio News that her brother likely passed away while sleeping.
According to Lillian, he had been doing well on his road to recovery; in fact, the two of them had a pleasant talk right before he went to sleep the night before his death.
Due to two strokes, DJ Lastborn has been sick for a long time.
His speech and right eye were both impacted by the second stroke he suffered in 2019.
Initially after his stroke, he was able to walk and even communicate, so he was able to accomplish things on his own. In a previous interview with Ghetto Radio, Lilian described how, “when it reoccurred, it affected him entirely, he could not talk or even eat himself.”
His remains are resting at the Mocham Mortuary in Mombasa.
