Maddison to miss Arsenal-Leicester game, a boost for Gunners.

by TopNews

Ahead of Arsenal’s match against Leicester City, the Gunners have received a boost with news that James Maddison is set to miss the game due to persistent injury struggles. Despite being arguably Leicester’s best player, Maddison’s absence could give Arsenal a better chance of earning all three points against the Foxes.

Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers commented that they would assess Maddison’s knee issue on Friday after training, indicating that the midfielder’s chances of playing were slim.

While Maddison’s absence is a boost, the Gunners are not underestimating their opponents and are preparing as though they are facing one of the best clubs in the competition, as underestimating an opponent could prove costly at this stage of the season. Arsenal is looking to build on their recent victory against Aston Villa and will be hoping to secure a positive result against Leicester City.
