East Africa’s Diamond is portrayed as a soft-spoken dude who can handle the ladies – and may have some affection for his ex-boyfriend Zari.

Viewers marveled at the drama, which seemed to follow the self-proclaimed boss who kept saying things weren’t rosy for the other actors because they were “intimidated by their confidence.”

The fashion and style of the collection is also top-notch. But of course it’s a must, after all there’s a superstar stylist in the cast. It also helps that the show’s stars are very wealthy and can afford the latest designer clothes and accessories.

Elle Magazine described the show as giving viewers a chance to glimpse a lavish, glamorous side of Africa long lacking on television.

In an interview with Africa News, Peace Hyde, co-creator and executive producer of the series, noted that one of the main goals of the series was to break down media stereotypes about Africa.
