Nairobi Road will be closed for 4 days

The Kenya Urban Roads Authority has announced a traffic disruption, closing Nyeri Road for four days starting Thursday, March 31.

In a statement from KURA, the road will remain closed until Sunday, April 3, 2022.

“We would like to bring to the public’s attention that there will be traffic disruptions along Nyeri Road from Thursday, March 31 at 6 am until Sunday, April 3 at 6 pm,” said part of the statement.

The move is aimed at paving the way for road repairs and the installation of culverts leading to Kenton Primary School.

Regretting the possible inconvenience, KURA advises motorists to be patient and use alternate routes during the anticipated period.

“We apologize for any inconvenience caused by improving urban transport,” KURA said.

Road rehabilitation is part of the KURA project, which works with the Nairobi Metropolitan Service (NMS) to improve the condition or roads of the city.
