State issued 110,000 titles since 2013 to Kirinyaga residents – CS: According to Transport CS James Macharia, the government has given 110,000 title deeds to Kirinyaga residents since 2013.
He praised the administration for its dedication to ensuring that Kenyans receive the crucial land ownership document.
According to Macharia, at least six million title deeds have been issued since the Jubilee administration took over.
The CS was speaking on Thursday as 60 Kirinyaga residents received title deeds.
He urged locals to keep their land for future generations rather than sell it or use the paperwork to get loans for income-generating projects.
“Please don’t immediately list your lands for sale because the land has the potential to increase in value. Use it wisely to benefit you and your family “CS stated.
Additionally, he urged the people of Kirinyaga to choose their leaders wisely the following month.
He warned the populace against choosing reckless leaders who would later forsake them and government initiatives.
The CS promoted Raila Odinga and Martha Karua as candidates for president of Azimio, claiming they are development-minded.
“Across the nation, we already have ongoing projects. The Kenol-Sagana-Marua dual carriageway is one illustration. We hope you choose a responsible government that will see that the project is finished “said Macharia.
“I think Raila and Karua are the people who will carry on the good work that President Uhuru Kenyatta has been doing.”
Paul Maringa, a PS for Infrastructure, was also present and thanked the government for organizing the drive.
